Senior Chief Core
Senior Chief Core spent 26 years in the United States Navy during which time he deployed overseas 18 different times to include locations in the Pacific, South America, Europe, Middle East, and Africa. During his 26 years he was trained and qualified in many areas to include being trained as an Instructor in 1994 and graduated Senior Enlisted Academy in 2005.
He enlisted in the US Navy in October of 1987. After graduating from recruit training he attended Machinist Mate “A” School. After graduating “A” School he completed follow on training and in 1989 was stationed aboard the USS Bronstein (FF-1037). While on board the USS Bronstein he qualified as an Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist, Lower Level Engineering, Upper Level Engineering, Messenger, Throttle Man, and Distillant Plant Operator. During the rest of his military career he was stationed at commands all around the world and received numerous awards for his military performance of which his highest award was the Bronze Star.
Senior Chief Core retired in 2013 and began his second career as a Naval Science Instructor at Boca Raton Community High School Navy JROTC. During his time at Boca NJROTC he has been instrumental in helping lead the regiment to a 1st place in the State Championship and in the Navy Nationals Academic, Athletic and Military Drill Championship.
